On Monday, a 5.4 magnitude earthquake shook the area 80 km ESE of Katsuren-haebaru, Japan at 0759 GMT, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). The earthquake's epicenter was located at a depth of 10.0 km and initially determined to be at 25.9356 degrees north latitude and 128.5466 degrees east longitude.
